As your travel helper for Buenos Aires / Argentina, I am delighted to be able to offer my advice on any issue related with my destinantion. You will realize that English is not my mother's tonge, but the idea is to help you to have the best possible experience in my country, so I hope to be clear enough.
Regarding Buenos Aires (my city) there are some tips that I will mention to contribute with your experience here.
The first one has to do with the exchange. There is a very reliable site: (www.dolarhoy.com). Here you will always find the update exchange and and average from the most important exchange agencies.
VERY IMPORTANT: when you arrive into Buenos Aires through Ezeiza (Internationl Airport) you will find three or four exchange stands. The only one with the REAL exchange rate is the one that belongs to BANCO NACION. You have to be very carefull here, as the other ones have an "outrageous" rate.
Once in Ezeiza hall, you will find hundreds of taxi offers to downtun. Don't take a taxi. Take what we call "remis". You will find three or four stands in the middle of the main hall. Take one of these, you should pay not more than USD 25.- for a transfer (per car) from Airsport to downtown.
Well, this is my firs post regarding Buenos Aires tips. I will be posting more tips referring lodging, restaurantes, shows, etc.
Hope you find it helpfull.
If you have any doubt, I will gladly answer you inquiries.
I wish you a great experience in Argentina!!!!!!!!!
